Work 30 hours/week

The AbaquarHostel is located in a wonderful setting surrounded by nature. Our volunteers only work 4 to 5 hours per day so there’s plenty of beach time and relaxing included! You’ll never get bored because you will do different tasks every day. We have a nice restaurant with a great bar which is open every day!



Reception

Help with check-ins, check-outs and attend to guests. You’ll show them their rooms and make sure they fee at home straight away.



Excursions

Accompany our guests on the Village Walks, Guided Island Tours, Boattrips, Horse Riding, Snorkeling Trips and much more…



Kitchen Hand

Help us preparing, serving and organizing meals. Previous experience in the restaurant industry is highly appreciated!



Bartending

We serve our guests with a friendly and helpfull can-do-attitude.You’ll serve drinks and maintain the supplies and inventory of beverages.



Socializing

Be a part of the friendly face of Abaquar Hostel and get the guests involved in our communal life. Become an ambassador for the beautiful Island of Boipeba and give the chance to the guests to make the most out of their stay!



Shopping

Give us a hand on our famous Hostel shopping trips to the local markets or by boat to Valença for items which cannot be found on the Island



Cleaning

Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas. Start practicing to change bedding!
